Clothier Lacey (CLC) was founded in 1998 by Philippa Clothier. Philippa decided to use her experience in marketing, event management and advertising to offer a specialised service to organisations who understand the value of a long term communications strategy. 

Prior to founding her own company, Philippa began her career in the media department of Procter & Gamble – far more years ago than she cares to remember!  She has worked on behalf of many of the region's top companies – Procter & Gamble, Sage, Northern Electric, Jackel International, Flymo and Reg Vardy to name but a few - and is well known throughout the business community, having lived in the north east for most of her life.

Philippa has a highly experienced team working alongside her. Senior members of staff include Mandy Peel, whose own career began in one of the north east’s largest advertising agencies working as production manager before progressing to account manager, and Leigh Chelton, who has many years' experience in the fields of PR and advertising.

The team not only looks after an enviable portfolio of local and national clients but also works as an extension to the in-house resources of many organisations, who feel comfortable about CLC's ability to represent their interests with the minimum of intervention.
