Newcastle-based property consultancy, Johnson Tucker LLP, has expanded its service offer with the appointment of Douglas Cranston MSc MRICS, as associate partner in investment agency.

 He joins the practice from Jones Lang LaSalle (formerly King Sturge LLP) where he spent the last six years providing both valuation and lease consultancy advice before he joined its investment team in 2010.

 At Johnson Tucker he will continue to provide investment advice to pension funds, property companies and private investors on an array of regional commercial property assets.

 Partner, Andrew Tucker, added:  “Whilst investors are under no illusion that 2012 will once again be a challenging year, the downturn also offers significant opportunities for those willing to take a more long term view.  In this regard, it’s the ideal time for us to further develop our investment arm.”

 Johnson Tucker LLP was established in 2006 by David Johnson and Andrew Tucker.   The firm advises a wide range of commercial and residential property owners and occupiers throughout the north east of England.
