Pickard Properties, based in Headingley, Leeds, is a well-established development and letting specialist with a substantial portfolio of rented and development properties.

Brief

Pickard engaged Clothier Lacey to provide a mix of writing, PR and project support services, ranging from brochure copy and advertising to award entries and wider communications activity.

Approach

At the outset, we worked closely with the client to understand the values that shaped the business. Pride and passion quickly emerged as defining themes, and we carried those qualities through the communications we produced.

Delivery

Our work covered two major residential development projects in Headingley and Horsforth, where we delivered communications support including brochures, moving-in guides and PR. We also wrote award submissions and helped shape messaging that reflected the company's reputation and ambition.

Results

Coverage of a significant student accommodation story in Leeds generated strong media interest. Of four award entries written by Clothier Lacey, two resulted in wins and two in finalist places. Properties at Horsforth were let quickly following completion, reflecting the effectiveness of the wider communications and marketing support.
